Thoughts:

I love fantasy novels and this series definitely do not disappoint! Witches, werewolves, vampires etc. I fell in love with all the characters, even the evil witch who tried to create a demon army.

Book 1 - Hex Hall; Book 2 - Demonglass; Book 3 - Spell Bound.

Does anyone feel the same as me? Heartbroken because Cal died? Cal was betrothed to Sophie but Sophie fell in love with Archer. I think Sophie had feelings for Cal but she just refused to acknowledge. As said, the main characters were Sophie and Archer, but I feel so strongly for Cal despite him only appearing here and there when Sophie needed him to heal Archer. Maybe now I do hate Sophie a little, why did she choose Archer! <///3

Maybe I read too many fairy tales, that the girl always ends up with the hottest guy. Not say Cal isn't hot, but the author described Archer as the sex goddess.

The plot is real good too. It has the same effect on me as reading Vampire Academy. I just couldn't stop. I love the courage and determination of Sophie, kindness of Cal, warrior of Archer, and wittiness of Jenna. They're basically a really good team GOOD against the team BAD.

If only Cal didn't die. If only Sophie and Cal is the happily ever after.
